About us - Centre Kotoriba
Centre Kotoriba is located in the centre part of Kotoriba in Međimurje county in the basin of the river Mura, on the boundary with the Republic of Hungary. It's traffic is associated by bus and railway connection with Čakovec, Koprivnica, Varaždin.
Vision of the centre's stuff is to create caring and responsible relationship with the centre's users, ensure their comfortable sourroundings in which they will feel safety and atmosphere like at home.
The centre offers services of both, long-term and short-term accomodation for 106 adults with mental difficulties, psycho-organic changes. Care is auitable for mobile, semi-mobile and immobile persons, as well as for persons requiring intensive care (stationary care). Users spend their time in the centre or based on their contract of accomodation (paying full economic care of accomodation) or by the decision of assigned Social care centre.
Centre's users are taken care of by professional staff (social worker, working therapist, nurse) and support staff (caregivers, cooks, cleaners, janitor, support worker in the laundry room). General medicine practitioner takes care of users together with the nurse and advisory specialists – psychiatrist and neurologist.
User's can use comfortable, entirely furnished rooms: one-bed, two-bed and tree-bed rooms with call signaling. Several rooms also has their own bathrooms.
Section for intense care is equipped with all necessary tools and medical equippment.
In the centre there are several dining rooms, living room with the TV and radio device, room of working therapy, tea kitchen and the room for smokers.
Centre's kitchen is equipped according to HACCP's standards.
Around the building there are many decorated green areas with summer houses, benches and the area for walking on roughly around 3000 square meters.
